Data Subject Requests

Email privacy@trycomp.ai with the subject line "Data Subject Request". Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant check, such as your name, email address, the business that requested the check, and the type of request you are making.

Do not email copies of your passport, driver licence, national ID, or other identity documents unless we specifically ask for them through a secure process.

• Access to personal data processed in Background Check.
• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion of personal data, subject to legal, security, audit, and business-customer obligations.
• Restriction or objection requests where applicable law provides those rights.
• Questions about biometric processing, retention, or AWS Rekognition/Textract processing.

If your check was requested by a prospective employer or another business, that business may control the purpose of the processing and may need to approve or complete parts of your request. We may direct you to that business or coordinate with it when required.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law. If a request is complex, legally restricted, or relates to records controlled by a business customer, we will explain the next step where possible.
